Description:

 

Zarion appears as a young man in his late twenties to early thirties.  He has brown hair and sports a pointed goatee; he is well, but not opulently dressed.   He carries a mace at his hip or leans upon it.  He is depicted as being on the open road driving a wagon or selling wares from one.

 

History/Relationships: 

 

Zarion is on good terms with most of the dieties of Aldernon.   he is on especially good terms with Dalt, Gykwyn and Liranen , as they share interests in travel.  He bears no direct emnity against those who support thieves as worshippers, but actively works against any whose actions disrupt trade.

 

Dogma:

 

A market is a window to the world, for all buy, sell and trade.   Serve those who serve the people.  The brave heart carries home with him everywhere he goes.  Share and invest wealth to promote trade.

 

Clergy and Temples:

 

Temples to Zarion can be found in the major cities; they often serve as meeting halls for merchants and guildsmen.  Shrines to Zarion are found in every marketplace.  Often small shrines are built into merchant's wagons with an open contribution jar to all who feel inspired.

 

Special Abilities:

 

Zarion priests gain additional special abilities as they progress in their dedication. Unless otherwise specified, these powers are supernatural abilities usable at will by the caster only.

 

3rd level – the cleric may take appraise and gather information as  class skills

5th level -- the cleric gains eagle's splendor as a bonus spell

7th level – the cleric gains the feat trustworthy

 

Rituals:

 

Zarion makes no special rituals available.
