History/Relationships:

Healda is the daughter of Galen and Averran.  Her sister is Sybel, the midwife.   healda is Galen’s handmaiden and follows the tenets of her father’s faith, interacting little with other deities and concentrating on guiding her father’s holy warriors.

Dogma:

Truth is paramount in all things.  Peace follows in the footsteps of truth.  Harm no living thing.  Always seek peaceful resolution to conflict.  Sadly, violence and conflict are usually inevitable when faced with evil; strike quickly and decisively to end this type of conflict with minimal destruction, always protecting innocents first.  Absolve the sins of evil before death at every opportunity.

Evil opposes truth and peace; therefore, oppose evil at every turn.  Be honorable in combat, even to foes, that they may see your righteousness.  Practice chivalry in every walk of life.

Clergy and Temples:

Temples of Averran are never found separated from the worship of Galen , Sybel and Healda.  In smaller areas,  Lomar and Erden often are also worshipped in the same temple.  That being said, temples to the LG pantheon are found in nearly all major cities and most cities larger than a hamlet.

Healdanes pray for spells in the morning and evening.  Healda has no clerics; all her charges are paladins.   Both men and women are welcome within the ranks of the Battlemaiden.

Paladins receive their calling as a vision instructing them to undertake some pilgrimage for the glory of the light.  Those completing the task set before them are welcomed within the temple for training.

Special Abilities:

Paladins gain all the abilities listed in the Player’s Handbook as they advance in power.

Rituals:

Healda does not have any specifc rituals available to her followers.
