Description:  Dumanthoin is represented as an old man carrying a pick in one hand and a gem in the other.

History/Relationships:  Dumathoin has no major alliances or foes among the gods.  He keeps his own counsel on most matters.  He is on good terms with the Dwarven Pantheon, and is considered to be a member of it.

 

Dogma:  Learn from the mountain, be silent and above reproach.  Guard the secrets of the earth.  Demonstrate wisdom to others in the accepted uses of earth and stone.  Guard the dead against despoilers, robbers and undead.

 

Clergy and Temples:  Temples are never found above ground.  Temples are built into the stone alongside dwarven and mining operations.  New moons are considered holy along with the days before and after, collectively referred to as the Deepstone Triad.

 

Special Abilities:  Dumathoin grants additional powers to his clerics as they progress in his devotion.  Unless otherwise specified, these powers are supernatural abilities usable at well by the caster only.

 

3rd level –   the cleric gains the ability to pass without trace in underground settings.

7th level –   the cleric gains use of a Detect Metal or Gems (1/day).

9th level –   the cleric gains use of a Bull’s Strength (1/day).

12th level – the cleric gains the ability to cast flesh to stone (1/day).

Dumathoin also makes special prayers available to this faithful.

 

Rituals:  Dumathoin does not make rituals available to his followers.
