The cleric causes the recipient to say the exact opposite of what he intended. This effect lasts for one such statement reversal/ 3 caster levels or until three turns have elapsed. For example, if this spell were cast upon a judge preparing to find a defendant guilty, the judge would proclaim him innocent. Unless used under conditions where words are absolutely binding, this spell causes momentary confusion more than anything else. The material component for this spell is a disc inscribed with opposing symbols on opposite faces.

 

Leachspit (Conjuration [Creation])

The caster coats a weapon with a magical venom that inhibits the clotting of blood. An edged weapon treated with this spell gains the wounding descriptor for the spell’s duration. The material components for the spell are the caster’s spittle, applied to the blade, and the husk of a leech.

 

Abyssmal Venom (Conjuration [Creation])

The cleric conjures an unholy dagger dripping with the venom of the eryines. The dagger inflicts 2d4 points of damage (d4 vs. evil outsiders, 3d4 vs. good outsiders) on each successful hit causes the victim to make a Fortitude Save. If the save is failed, the victim takes an additional d3 points of temporary Con loss. The material component for this spell is a sliver of iron.

 

Shroud of Nonentity (Enchantment [Charm])

Spell Resistance: Yes

 

The cleric becomes nondescript and able to pass without fear of notice or recognition. Creatures with up to 2HD do not interact with the caster unless the caster approaches them and forget him as soon as he leaves their presence. Creatures with 2+ HD get a Will Save to notice the caster if he is moving in such a way as would attract attention or if specifically looking for the caster. If the creature locates the caster and later loses sight of him, he must save anew. Detection spells with an area of effect will skip the caster is a DC is failed (DC = caster level + WIS modifier), but spells specifically searching for the caster function normally. The material component for this spell is a strip of gray Cepra cloth.

This cleric makes the target creature doubted, disbelieved, and disrespected by all who interact with him. A successful Will Save at -2 negates the spell completely. Otherwise, the recipient has an untrustworthy aura about him that makes others ignore his words, no matter how important or stressed. Beings possessing more then 6HD may make a Wisdom check (DC = 20) to pierce the spell’s effects. The material component for the spell is a wolf’s tongue.

 

Falsehood (Enchantment [Charm])

The caster may lie freely without detection. This spell negates divinations of the 4th level and lower. The spell adds a +2 circumstance bonus to all bluff, diplomacy, innuendo, and perform checks as well. The material component of the spell is a snake’s tongue.

 

Stenbold's Strangler (Evocation [Force])

Spell Resistance: Yes

 

The cleric strangles his foe with a ghostly garrotte. When cast, the target creature is attacked by an invisible force similar to a garrotte. If the victim fails a Reflex Save, he will be strangled by the force and die at the end of the following round. A successful dispel magic will negate this spell as will an unbinding.  A victim being strangled can also escape if he makes a successful strength check on the second round (DC = 24). The strangler is intangible to all other objects and forces except its victim. The material component for this spell is a fine piece of steel wire.

 

Liarsmark (Enchantment [Charm])

The cleric brands the recipient with the personal favor of Garrotongue. If a Will Save at -4 is successful, the spell has no effect, else the target becomes a pathological liar. This curse is permanent until removed by a remove curse spell cast by at least a 12th level cleric. The material component for this spell is a snake’s tongue.
