Killip is depicted as a smiling young man with flowing chestnut hair and bright blue eyes. Killip is traditionally depicted holding a half-mask in his right hand and often in bright jesterly garb. Animals are sometimes depicted around his feet, paused as if listening.

History/Relationships:

Killip is the son of Yrinith and Ysanne. he is on excellent terms with both parents as well as his half-sister Drebe. Killip's light-hearted nature makes him popular with most gods and goddesses. Dana regards him with angry disdain, although he takes no such position with her. The Darkbringers and Cthons generally have no use for the joy that Killip's voice brings, and Killip finds himself opposing several of the Demonlords, Crylla and Raistrick chief among them.

Dogma:

All life sings parts in a grand chorale. Enjoy the rich harmonies of life. Silence is a lost moment awaiting song. When others find discord with you, listen and grow with them until they join the great song.

Clergy and Temples:

Killip does maintain freestanding temples of his own; rather he reserves space within temples of Yrinith and other patron deities. As such, his priests offer their services to provide music, particularly song, in their own and other worship services. As many of his clergy also possess levels in Bard, this makes for splendid performance. Troops of clergy sometimes tour among towns in a region, giving performances.

Killip has no particular standard of dress, but his followers typically display bright and cheery colors unless the mood demands otherwise. His clergy, likewise, possess no armor restrictions, but most wear nothing heavier than leather. Killip is primarily worshipped by humans of both sexes, although there are a growing number of elves and half-elves visible among his ranks.

The Kils are driven by the legend of the Ylano. The Ylano was born when the Universe was made. It contains the magic necessary for all creation and all destruction. The whole Ylano was shattered at that moment into the Universe and is a part of all living things. Fragments of the song are everywhere, and the Kils seek to locate and learn them. Their grand goal is to assemble and perform the entire Ylano.

Kils typically pray for spells in morning, welcoming the rising of the sun with song. Kils may freely multiclass; many are rogues and bards as well, as the clergy often have access to all levels of society.
