Range: Touch

Each successful hit will deal an additional point of damage from bleeding. Wounds will continue to bleed each round for an additional point of damage per wound until a successful Heal check (DC15) is made or any form of magical healing is applied.

Range: Close (25 ft + 5 ft/ level)

Casting Time: 1 action

Area: One target

Duration: 1 round/ 5 caster levels

Saving Throw: Fortitude partial

Spell Resistance: Yes

The priestess calls upon an unseen force to rend and burn her foes. The target of the spell is attacked by an unseen claw attack each round the spell lasts if the cleric makes a successful touch attack roll. If the cleric fails the “to hit” roll, the force hangs idly in the target area and attempts to attack any creature entering its threat space (5 x 5 ft) until the spell ends; even the caster may later be affected by her own spell if the initial target is missed. Once the spell has acquired a target, it does not switch, even if the target dies. The attack does a d4 per two caster levels (maximum 5d4); half of this damage is force, half is fire. The material component for this spell is the blackened talon of a predatory bird.

Any fire source of at least the size of a campfire can be used; the caster senses all available exits within range when the spell is cast. This spell does make the caster immune to fire except for the momentary instant of travel.

Components: V, S, M

Range: Touch

Casting Time: 1 action

Area: One creature

Duration: 4 rounds

Saving Throw: Fortitude partial

The priestess turns her foe’s blood to acid. To place this spell, the priestess must make a successful melee touch attack. The target feels a painful burn in its extremities on the first round of the spell, taking a d4 points of damage. The second round, this burning spreads through the body, causing wracking pains, 2d4 points of acid damage and leaving the target shaken. On the third round, the pain becomes overwhelming causing 4d4 in damage and stunning the target for the round. On the fourth round, the pain begins to recede; the target takes a final d4 points of damage and is weakened from a point of temporary STR loss. A save is made each round the spell lasts; if successful, all damage is halved for the round and any additional effects (shaken, stunned, or STR loss) do not occur. The material component for the spell is a vial of alchemist’s acid.

A successful Reflex Save indicates full damage as per flame strike(d6 per caster level, maximum 15d6). If the save is failed, the target has been cremated to ash. Any being who has been cremated must be restored through the use of a resurrection or wish. The focus for this spell is the cleric's holy symbol.

Firestar (Evocation [Fire], Transmutation)

Level: Clr 7 (Dana)

Components: V, S, DF

Range: Medium (100 feet + 10 ft./level)

Casting Time: 1 action

Area: 1 target/caster level

Duration: 2 rounds

Saving Throw: Fortitude partial

The priestess creates a burning mote which moves around the battlefield to strike her foes. This spell creates a white-hot ball of flame, roughly one foot in diameter, under the mental command of the caster. Once cast, the caster mentally picks all targets within range that she wishes her firestar to attack. Each target is slammed and burned for 8d8 as the spell attacks it as the spell dances around allies and around barriers to attack specific targets; after attacking the firestar returns to hang over the caster’s head where it confers complete immunity to fire upon the caster. The second round, the caster may send her firestar onto the battlefield again as before; after the second round, the spell expires harmlessly. The spell pierces protective spells 5th level and lower except for a wall of force. The material component for the spell is a fist-sized ball formed from powdered magnesium and iron.

Gebba's Bloody Death (Evocation [Fire], Transmutation)

Level: Clr 8 (Dana)

Range: Medium (120 ft.)

Casting Time: 1 action

Area: 30 ft. x 30 ft. square

Duration: 10 minutes

Saving Throw: Fortitude partial

Spell Resistance: Yes

The cleric boils the blood of her victims. According to legend, this spell was created by the first high priestess of Dana and bears her name. Whether this is true or not, the spell well deserves the rest of its title. As the priestess begins the spell, all creatures within the area of effect feel feverish and uncomfortable. Thereafter, the spell follows the following progression:

Round 1 –         Fever and discomfort give a -1 circumstance penalty to all rolls Movement is reduced by 25%

Round 2 –         Blood vessels rupture, Fort. Save at -2 or die instantly Successful save only takes 2-12 points of fire damage Movement is reduced by 50%

Rounds 3-10 – Target’s blood boils, taking 2d4 damage/ minute Successful save halves damage Movement is reduced by 75%, pain gives a -4

                            circumstance penalty on all rolls

This spell is ineffective against the undead (except vampires), constructs, and elementals, but affects outsiders. The focus for the spell is a gold bowl filled with the caster's blood. This spell is sacred to the priestesses of Dana and is not available to other clerics. Mages should develop their own version at their own risk; stories abound of Dana’s jealous wrath.
