Currencies

 

All countries currently work on a gold standard.  Most countries mint their own coinage, but a few accept other currentcies based upon gold weight.  Most commonly, only state coinage is accepted in official trade, so centers of currency exchange exist in major cities.  Of course, there are always those who are willing to accept non-standard coin for an additional price.  The Skulls of Thryn are looked at with suspicion everywhere.
