History/Relationships:

Galadan maintains a casual alliance with Avaia and Myk. He is subservient to Rakoth when directly called upon to act. Galadan fights with Endrigoth over the portfolio of evil lycanthropes. Galadan has a bitter hatred for Sha’Harrai who champions good and neutral lycanthropes. Galadan also opposes Cernan for lordship over beasts.

Dogma:

Your pack is your life. Know your place within your pack, serve your alpha as long as he is fit to lead. When you are the stronger, take his place. To hunt, stalk and kill is to know the strongest pulse of life. Revel in the fear of your prey as much as in the hunt. Man is the sweetest prey of all.

Clergy and Temples:

Galadin’s faithful do not maintain temples within the cities of men. His priests wander either as single individuals or among packs of lycanthropes. Druidic worshippers of the Wolflord tend to maintain more permanent worship centers, usually the stone circles for which druids are known. Galadan’s faithful pray to the rising moon, pouring blood onto the ground and howing forth praise to the Wolflord. Little is known of the formal worship of Galadan outside his followers, as those encountering a large gathering of lycanthropes seldom live to tell the tale. It is known that groups gather in the wilderness for events known as Howlings when a new member (willing or not) joins the fold and undergoes his first change under the full moon. Prey is captured for the event and set loose for the new lycanthrope to hunt; human prey related to the member is the preferred choice among victims. One other holiday irregularly observed is the Ritual of the Black Hunt. The Black Hunt is conducted during the coldest parts of winter, predominantly in northern lands. Large groups of lycanthropes gather and spend the night hunting in the wilderness; they drag the bodies of the their prey into nearby cities and offer up the remains. It is believed that this ritual is intended to both instill fear in city dwellers as well as prove the superiority of the pack to both provide and take life.

Special Abilities:

Galadanites eschew all armor and do not use shields. As Galadin has no interest in the undead, his clerics are unable to rebuke the undead; instead, they may make a turning attempt to control as many HD of nongood canids as could be affected by one turning roll. If successful, these creatures are under the control of the cleric for the duration of a standard rebuke. Galadintes gain special abilities from the Wolflord as they progress in his worship. Unless otherwise specified, each ability can be used once per day and affects the caster only.
