The caster strengthens the monsters he calls to his side. This spell is cast as a pre-spell to any summoning spell and duplicates the effects of the augment summoning metamagic feat. Creatures called with the companion spell are +2 per HD and have a +1 competence bonus on to hit and damage rolls. This spell will stack with the augment summoning feat.

Duration: 1 minute/ caster level

Spell Resistance: No

 

Damage done to the caster is taken by his conjured minions. This spell establishes a sympathetic link between the caster and his conjured minions. Any physical or magical damage taken by the cleric is split evenly among the monsters in the link; if the damage type does not effect the target creature, it ignores the damage. The caster does not take any damage until either the spell ends, is dispelled, or the caster runs out of minions. All minions targeted by this spell must be present before it is cast.

 

Subvert Summons (Transmutation)

This spell allows the Metranic to steal control of monsters conjured or summoned by others.  An opposed check is made as per dispel magic.

 

Transient Familiar (Abjuration)

 

Level: Clr3 (Metran)

Casting Time: 1 action

Range: Personal

Area: One conjured monster

Duration: 1 minute/ caster level

Saving Throw: No

Spell Resistance: No

 

The caster borrows the defensive abilities of a conjured monster. This spell establishes a link between the caster and a conjured monster. Depending on the caster’s level, the caster gains increasing powers from the link. The caster cannot benefit from bonuses the target creature does not possess regardless of the listing on the table below.

The caster unleashes a blast of hellish fire to consume his foes. Balefire does a d6 per caster level in damage (maximum 15d6), half of this damage is fire and half is unholy, and affects each non-evil creature within its confines as per the doom spell for a d4 rounds.  A successful dexterity save will halve damage and reduce the doom effect to one round. Since Metranics and their allies are always evil and usually resistant (or immune) to fire, the casting of this spell at ground zero is done with unholy glee.
