Magic

Aldernon is a game world vital with magic. 

 

Spellcasters constantly create and customize spells to suit their purposes and immortalize  their names in the Great Library.

 

The gods and goddesses grant special prayers to their faithful that display their power to worshippers.

 

Lost and forgotten civilizations are treasure troves of enchantments not seen in centuries.

 

Interactions with travellers from other planes of existence offer chances to acquire spells from other places not yet seen in Aldernon

 

And of course the crafters of Alernon and other worlds have left magic items with all manner of powers scattered across the plane.  Some of these are still in use by their owners for those brave enough to acquire them.

 

The magic pages are divided into separate pages for spells usable by each character class.  Additionally, a section on Black Magic is included as Lord Metran makes vile spells available to the truly desparate or depraved that most spellcasters would not attempt. Spells usable by multiple types are casters are crosslisted.
